Go to start – run – type cmd or command

Then type the command ( ipconfig / all) and check the following :

Note a.b.c.d means numbers.

Verify that you have an IP address, default gateway and DNS.

What is the meaning of this message "invalid user name or password"?

Your account is disabled or the username and password is incorrect check it, if it's correct try to dial 3350800 if you are in Tripoli or 0213350800 out side, if the connection is made that means you have a problem with the telephone line, if the connection fails call LTT or our dealers to reset your password.

What is the meaning of this message "the remote computer did not respond"?

Check if you see this message during the dialing (verifying user name and password) if the connection fails after this message try to connect by using the ISP number 3350800 in Tripoli or 0213350800 out side if the connection fails call LTT for help.

Why doesn't the connection complete and I see the message ………dialing?

Try to dial 0111 or 111 by using your telephone directly and verify that you can hear the modem tone, its like the fax tone ,if you don’t hear this tone –the line is busy or there is no tone at all – try to connect by using 3350800 in Tripoli or 0213350800 out side or call LTT company for help.

If you can hear the modem tone, check your modem configurations and your operating system.

Why is it that when I use the call waiting feature the internet connection will disconnect after I receive a call?

Because your modem doesn't support the protocol V92, by using this type of modems you can receive a telephone call or reject it, if you want to answer the telephone call the internet will be disconnected or you can reject the call without interrupting the internet connection.

What is the deference between the service number 0111, 111 and the number 3350800?

  • The service number 0111,111 is digital but the service number 3350800 is analog.

  • The max speed of the digital service is 52kbps; the analog service is 33kbps.

  • The digital service is free –no call charging – while the analog isn’t free.

  • The digital service can support V92 modems; the analog can't support V92 modems.

What is the reason of the continuous disconnections?

  • The continuous disconnections is because of the dampness and noise on telephone lines ,the data is very sensitive to noise, it's not like voice, and sometimes you can't hear the noise in your telephone line but that doesn't mean you don’t have a noise problem.

  • Try to connect by using the analog service 3350800 in Tripoli or 0213350800 outside because the analog service is not sensitive to noise like the digital, if the connection fail after few minutes that means you have a very poor line.
